First page of the comic: In the first panel, the Hollow Knight sitting in the shallow water of the spring up to their hips while lightly illuminated, image showing their cracked mask and torso as injured. Behind them is Hornet sitting on one of the rocks, her needle, the Hollow Knight’s worn down nail and a tied sack resting against the rocks around her. The background is a dim blue lighting of the hot spring at Forgotten Crossroads. Second, overlapping panel views Hollow Knight from behind, surrounded by the bright lighting coming from them using Focus and healing, patching the cracks on their mask. Third panel is a close shot of Hornet tilting her head over. Fourth panel is the Hollow Knight grasping their injured torso with their remaining hand and hunching over.

Second page: First panel with a super close up on the Hollow Knight perking while glancing over their shoulder. Second panel is another wide shot of the hot spring, the Hollow Knight now sitting with a straight position and arm high, acting as if they’re fine. Hornet is sitting on the same rock, unimpressed. Third panel, Hornet slips down off the rock to stand. Fourth panel has a close up of her angered expression slightly ominous lightning on it. Fifth panel showcases the Hollow Knight’s head, shocked from Hornet’s reaction. Sixth panel is once again of them, turned away, showing their back while hunched over.

Third page: First panel shows Hornet lowering her head and sighing. Second page is a low angle that views Hornet taking a slow step towards her sibling, both of them shown from behind. There are rocks, the rusty nail and the bag shown in the foreground while background has one of the springs where the Hollow Knight sits flowing. Third panel is a mirror reflection in the rippling water of the two, Hornet now standing beside the Hollow Knight. Firth panel is a close up on Hornet’s hand reaching out to the Hollow Knight’s healthy arm. Fifth panel has Hornet withdraw her hand as they turn their head towards her.

Forth page: First panel is a random shot of the hotspring, showing the odd heads that produce the spring flow. Second panel shows the Hollow Knight hunching over once again, staring down with a squint while Hornet attempts a reach one more time and gently touching their arm. Fourth panel, the Hollow Knight moves their body and the arm away with a flinch, making Hornet lose her balance on a rock beside the spring she stood on, leaning backwards towards the running spring. Both have shocked expressions. Fifth panel has a water splash over the Hollow Knight’s head as they squint. Sixth panel is the spring water, shot from behind the Hollow Knight looking surprised at Hornet who is sitting soaked in the water, not looking too happy but not upset. Seventh panel is a small corner of the spring room.

OKAY! Quick pointers~

-I made this for fun and practice, I won't be making more pages like this in the future but I might draw more regarding the story itself. However, I can't promise anything so take that with a grain of salt.

-This takes place after godhome endings, which one specifically I'm not sure and it kind of doesn't matter at the moment.

-I did my best with Hornet's dialogue, I won't be able to ever get her lines as accurate to her as in the game but I am going by my own feeling towards what she's experiencing right now and what's going through her head. Thank you @flame-shadow for directing me how to fix it~ :D

-painting water is hard... I stopped when I felt like I had no energy to continue and will to spend more time on it but I learned a lot during the making process (mostly errors I tend to make), since I don't do a lot of proper comic pages like this, even if I like making comics haha.

Anyway, will add description to the images as soon as tumblr allows me to (probably after I post it and then click edit)... EDIT: They're added but boy am I not good at this, I hope it still helps!

Hornet: Do not consider me a fool, knight. Have you forgotten I was here for it all? Do you expect me to sweeten the bitter bygones now that it’s all over?

Hornet: To act like our suffering and more—are already a part of forgotten history or tales of the dead king and his people?

Hornet: (sigh)

Hornet: The anger is my own. The past cannot be undone, therefore… The time for healing is now.

Hornet: The difficulty begins here. For both of us. We earned an opportunity and we must advance. … for them. But the hardest step for you, The Hollow Knight…

Hornet: … is to allow yourself to be.

Hornet: Allow to think. To feel, to express. Allow yourself to act on your own accord. In spite of it all, enduring such a burden as you did, you are finally allowed to LIVE!

Hornet: … I see much work is needed…

Hornet: It’s best we start soon, then.
