Eggo Homestyle waffles ~ 60 cal (these are great to satisfy cravings)

Granola bar - anything low calorie (they are hella filling. Good breakfast)

Mott’s unsweetened applesauce ~ 50 cal

Light yogurt ~ anything low calorie (these fill me up really well)

Carrots ~ 25 for 1 medium

Broccoli ~ 9 cal per ounce

Green beans ~ 35 cal

Spinach ~ 7 calories per cup

Celery ~ 6 cal per stalk

Pickles ~ 10 to 20 calories, depending on size

Cucumbers ~ 16 calories each

Zucchini ~ 29 calories each

Egg ~ 75 cal each

Egg white ~ 17 cal

Hot sauce ~ 0 cal (eat some whenever you feel a craving coming on and you won’t want to eat anymore. Put it on food too to make it less appetizing)

Rice cake ~ 35 cal each (these are literally the absolute best, I switch them out for bread to make a sandwich to make my parents think I’m eating. They are awesome.)

Black coffee ~ 5 cal (but add other stuff if you want it, you won’t gain from COFFEE)

Green tea ~ 0 cal

Chamomile tea ~

Lemon ~ 17 cal without peel, 22 with

Ginger ~ 8 cal

Sugar-free gum ~ 5-10 cal (chewing gum burns 13 calories per hour!)

Water ~ 0 cal (honestly what did you expect? Also put some lemon in it to help boost your metabolism)

Very dark chocolate ~ 155 cal per ounce (good for cravings)

Wasabi ~ 15 per teaspoon

Salt - 0 cal (be careful though, it makes you retain water weight. Eat only when craving salty things)

Walden Farms chocolate sauce ~ 0 cal

Miracle noodles ~ 5 calories

1 packet instant oatmeal ~ 130 calories

Spaghetti squash ~ 35 calories per cup

Egg drop soup ~ 75 calories per cup

So yesterday, I was talking to my friend, and I casually slipped that I have depression. But I shrugged it off, and was like you know I’m mentally ill. And she said, is this a proven fact, or do you just think you have depression?

Like, my dad, my aunt, both my grandma’s, my uncle, and all my great grandparents have depression, and I have all the symptoms. But no, yeah, let me just tell my parents that I want to kill myself and get a therapist to diagnose it so that they send me to a mental hospital.

being mentally ill + suicidal at a young age (before 18) is. strange, because you grow up with this idea that one day you’ll finally snap, turn off, be brave enough to kill yourself, so you don’t really plan for the future. adulthood- further life, it isn’t for you, nor do you feel included within the future of it. it isn’t.. it isn’t part of your life plan.

and then before you know it you’re 18 and you’re an adult but you never thought you’d get this far and sure it’s great that you’re still alive you guess but also. you feel so alone + lost in a world you never expected or planned to be a part of.

Okay, so for 2 years now I have been dealing with emotional abuse from all 3 of my siblings. The embarrassing thing is that they're all younger than me. Just last year my sister told me that my pants were way too big, and I must be super fat. And now I have a borderline eating disorder. But the worst thongs is that my parents always take their side. Saying things like, 'Well, it is your fault.' and 'Next time, try to be better.' I know that some people have it worse, but I have crippling depression and I cut myself even before all this happened.
