“what’s Posted On The Internet Stays There Forever” Is True For Everything Except That One Piece

am i the only rick and morty fan who feels this way?

i hope season 8 don't have boring episodes like "Rise of the Numbericons: The Movie". i don't mind side characters', or side stories [a plot, b subplot] but, i'm talking about episodes where rick and morty don't appear at all, or only appear very little. the show is called "rick and morty", and that is who i expect the show to be about, those two are the only reason i watch the show, and that is who the show should be centered around, rick and morty are the main characters'. as an example; in "Rise of the Numbericons: The Movie" episode rick did not appear at all, and was replaced with goldenfold [a background character who only appears very rarely in earlier seasons], and morty was sidelined and only appeared very little in the episode. i'm starting to believe i'm the only rick and morty fan who feels, and thinks this way.

I adore when people make Connor Detroit a little scary. Like yes he's sweet and submissive and domestic and deceptively pliant but he doesn't HAVE to be and he could easily kill Hank if he wanted to. Like that's just FUN. Hank like, yeah he's beautiful and he's mine, but also he knows 92 ways to kill people and none of them are painless. Isn't he amazing :)

i saw more than few people mention that you need high IQ to truly understand Rick and Morty and I'm always like "???" because do you tho? i have to be honest I'm sure I don't have above average IQ and I understand everything fine. AND to be completely honest if you have any media literacy interpretation skills you get it. of course it's NOT about Pickle Rick and haha Rick is a goofy drunk. show writers spell it out clearly, Rick and Morty as a show is something deeper than that.
