I think it’s really fucking weird how the peaky blinders fandom tries to make it ok to use a slur that was used against Romani people just because the characters in the show (who are portrayed as Romani) use it especially when it’s their “oc”. It’s disgusting to try to normalize and justify using a literal slur when you are not apart of that ethnic group and don’t struggle or go through the prejudice and genocide they do and then ignore people trying to correct you. You are scum. The show in itself it problematic because it portrays stereotypes of romani people while not using actual romani people to play these roles.

I do think trans women should have their own movement and that’s the way it’s always been up until now, I do think this generation is trying to hard to accommodate to everyone’s feelings which is just resulting in even more problems.

Trans women are brought up on my page a lot because a lot of rad fems seems very upset at the fact that I don’t care to call trans women he’s and refuse to put all trans women in a generalized box of women haters who’s main goal in life is to torment women. I think anyone with common sense can agree that not all trans women are like that.

All women are included in my feminism I just hold white women at an arms length because as a native women I have seen what they are capable of causing with their words and fake tears

My feminism doesn’t include trans women because like I said the original starters of the trans rights movement had their own movement

You are educated, you are nice with the others and I really appreciate how you handle all this harrassment, they call you a TRA or worse stuff, some even go down to throw misogynistic slurs and speak at you, just because you are nice with trans people

I think is that you're not white and not from west and being a sister not from Europe or north america i can agree we both have different views on trans people than the people there, we are more accepting and aware on how they are (I'm from latin america btw)

I have gotten very hateful comments especially about my culture which was very odd to me since we live in peace and are able to coexist and some radfems here have the audacity to say my culture is wrong just because I don’t see trans people as a threat to women because in my community they never have been

It is very sad that they insult me and degrade me and tell me I have no self respect which is the exact same thing men say to me to insult me

One thing I have learned is that white women will never be women of colors allies, never have been never will be, and I’m assuming most of the women spewing hate speech at me are white women who lack any cultural context and don’t bother to educate themselves or listen to what non white women have to say. They have a very “im right and your wrong” mindset

It isn’t “technically” true, it is true that there are many circumstances where a women would need an abortion. Especially a child

If a women chooses to not follow through with a pregnancy it is her choice,

You’re acting as if women aren’t allowed to enjoy sex and simultaneously not want a child, not everyone is cut out to be a mother wether that be for financial or mental reasons and I would much rather a women get an abortion than put a child into a dangerous situation. But saying that an abortion is not a life saving procedure when women have died because they were not able to receive one is erasure of those women who have died as a result of misogynistic policy’s

If medically trained female doctors are saying abortions will save women’s lives and we need to make them legal, we need to listen to them

No one is glamorizing or making abortion “pretty” people are trying to remove the stigma and demonization that women who have had abortions receive

Seeing clips of the Lily Phillips interview was truly heart breaking and only reinforces the fact that sex work especially prostitution will never be liberating and only further damages a woman’s mental health and body

Lily Phillips was originally only an only fans star but recently slept with 100 men in one go, for free, and filmed it.

In the interview towards the end you see her begin to cry, dissociate, and not even be able to describe how she feels

One thing that really stuck out to me is that she says she felt bad for not being able to fully please all the men and that made it all click for me that she did all of this to feel male validation and got more than what she bargained for.

To punish herself and “put”herself through such an intense trauma makes me feel like the people in her life took advantage of her vulnerability and her wanting to please and exploited it
