I gave birth to my son, Mohammed, amidst the sounds of bombing and the smell of death.But he was born to begin a greater suffering…

He developed severe lung infections due to the toxic gases that fill the air in Gaza.Every moment that passes steals his life…and every breath he takes is a struggle between life and death.

But we are helpless… we don't even have the money for bread, so how can we afford this expensive operation?

I knocked on people's doors… I begged… I cried… I screamed from the heart of a mother broken by her son's weakness, but no one answered. Now, I appeal to you from the heart of a mother who is burning every moment:

Please save my child.

most creators who do content surrounding service workers have like a few viral videos and then their notoriety swiftly fades. the only reason she has gotten so much attention is because people are desperate to take out their pent up frustration with the trans community, and especially trans women.

its also weird that every time someone “calls her out” they include the fact she’s trans in the title… like what does that have to do with literally anything? i don’t think all criticism of her is rooted in transphobia, but i do think feeling the need to bring her identity into things is.

here’s a hot take: Lily Tino wouldn’t be so “annoying and evil” if people were more accepting towards trans women. i can’t be the only one who can understand her frustration. as far as i’m aware, her only “crime” is getting upset when people misgender her. she probably wouldn’t be getting as upset as she does if there was a level of basic respect towards trans people. of course, a lot of the employees she’s getting upset with are very apologetic and will often times immediately correct themselves, but i think it’s totally fair for her to be like “…? seriously..? you can’t tell that i’m trying to present myself more femininely…?”
